Undergraduate Student News

Five undergrads from our campus took part in the AIU-UCB “Project-based Learning Course” at Akita International University (AIU) during June and July. The course brings students from both campuses together for intense study in the Bay area and northern Japan, under the direction of Keiko Yamanaka.

Three students from our campus end the summer as part of the 67th Japan-American Student Conference, traveling with — to Hiroshima, Shimane, Kyoto, and Tokyo. The list of notable alumni to these conferences is lengthy and includes corporate leaders of many major corporations, politicians and diplomats, and even a “MacArthur Genius.”
