Research Interests: Tseng has a background in medical sociology and extensive community-based participatory research (CBPR) experience with diverse and vulnerable populations, particularly underserved Asian populations. He conducts research on community-initiated interventions, health care delivery, and racial/ethnic inequities of health, using mixed methods, participatory, and organizational approaches. He has 20 years of experience collaborating with community-based organizations in the United States, China, Japan, and Taiwan.
