The University of California's Education Abroad Program gives students the opportunity to study abroad while earning U.C. credit. Advanced level graduate students are eligible to apply to EAP provided they meet minimum requirements and have the support of their academic department and the Graduate Dean. Their work will concentrate heavily on language training and will be supplemented with area study courses drawn from the host university, augmented by courses offered by the program's resident director.
Currently there are study centers in China (Beijing University, Beijing Normal University, Tsinghua University), Hong Kong (Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology), India (University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University), Japan (10 institutions), Korea (Yonsei University), Indonesia (Universitas Gadja Mada, Indonesia Arts Institute), Singapore (National University of Singapore), Taiwan (National Taiwan University),and Thailand (Chiang Mai University, Chulalongkorn University).
