The following is a list of suggested classes students may take for the minor. It is not a comprehensive list and there are likely many other classes one could take at Berkeley that could count toward the minor. If a class is upper division and the focus is on Japan, most likely it will count. Please keep in mind only two language and literature classes may be counted among the five upper division classes, and only two classes can be taken off of the Berkeley campus.
