A Summer Institute in LCTL Literacy

June 2-3, 2009 at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Sponsored by the Center for Educational Resources in Culture, Language and Literacy (CERCLL)
Day 1: General Principles of Literacy
Day 2: Development of L1 and L2 Literacy in Chinese, Japanese and Korean

Beijing Normal University

This study-and-travel program has been designed for American college students and 12th graders, including 4-week intensive Chinese studies on campus in Beijing and 12-day cultural tour to Yunnan Kunming-Lijiang-Dali-Shangri-la-Suzhou-Shanghai. Your students will be learning the Chinese language and culture while visiting most important historic and scenic spots. They will also earn credit transferred to their universities.
