Wuliu Society luncheon
Every year, hundreds of UC Berkeley undergraduates enroll in East Asian Studies courses. Many choose to pursue a major or minor in Asian Studies, offered through the Group in Asian Studies.
Berkeley also has a large and active graduate student community in East Asian studies. Aobakai is the graduate association for Japanese studies, drawing its membership from the humanities and social sciences.
IEAS provides various forms of student support, complementing CCS student awards, CJS student support, and CKS student support.
