Since my very first days as a graduate student at UC Berkeley, CKS has been a crucial pillar of support and community for me. In addition to affording me numerous networking and career-building opportunities, CKS has provided me with generous funding in the form of travel grants and research fellowships. With their support, I have been able to present at international conferences, pursue Korean language study, and establish a scholarly community of colleagues, peers, and advisors. I am so deeply grateful for CKS’ sincere and tireless commitment to the success of its graduate students and look forward to deepening my relationship with the Center.
