The Republic of China East Asian Fellowship provided me with the opportunity to further my research on nationalism and identity in China. The fellowship provided me with the necessary financial support and resources to conduct pilot studies, which helped me to refine my methodology and better understand the cultural context of my research. The support of the Center for Chinese Studies, including access to its resources, has been crucial in my progress so far. I am looking forward to conducting the main survey experiment over the summer and continuing to make contributions to the study of nationalism and identity in China.
