Bio/CV:
Zijing Fan is a Ph.D. candidate in EALC. She received her B.A. and M.A. in Classical Chinese Literature from Fudan University. Her previous work applies the philological methodology to investigate narratives about the Jianwen Emperor of Ming and late imperial Chinese historiography. Her recent project focuses on the narrative of late imperial historical novels and the image of their circulation in the realm of East Asia.
