CKS Welcomes New Program Director

March 13, 2018
The Center for Korean Studies is pleased to welcome Kelsey Williams, who has been hired as the new Program Director. She started work for CKS on March 12, 2018, ending a brief interim period between the departure of the wonderful prior Program Director, Stephanie Kim, who has taken a position at Georgetown’s Extension Program. Kelsey holds a Wellesley College BA degree in East Asian Studies with a focus on Korea, and spent her junior year at Ewha Women's University in Seoul. She has previously worked at The Asia Foundation in San Francisco supporting the Luce scholars and the philanthropic work of the foundation. In addition to participating in prior CKS programs such as the 2015 Literature Translation Workshop she is coming to CKS from her position as a Program Coordinator at the College of Natural Resources on campus. She brings many years of experience in Korean studies to CKS.
