Daesan-Berkeley Writer in Residence Program

With generous support from the Daesan Foundation in Korea, the Center for Korean Studies previously invited a visiting Korean writer to campus for six months each year. This program promoted cultural exchange between the literary communities of Korea and the San Francisco Bay Area. The visiting writers participated in Center activities and delivered lectures or readings for the community.

This program is currently on hiatus due to lack of funding. To support this and other similar programs, visit our Give to CKS page.
