Ambassador Julia Chang Bloch Fellowship

The Ambassador Julia Chang Bloch Fellowship comprises two distinct programs: the "Ambassador Julia Chang Bloch Fellow of Political Science '' and the "Ambassador Julia Chang Bloch Fellow of East Asian Studies," each provides one fellow with $2,000 of funding. The Fellowship program aims to provide interested students, especially those of AAPI heritage, with financial support to conduct academic research focused on political/social/cultural/economic aspects of East Asia.

The Center for Korean Studies at UC Berkeley is pleased to announce the inaugural Hong Yung Lee Book Award in Korean Studies which will be awarded in 2022. $10,000 will be awarded to the author(s) whose nonfiction English-language academic monograph about Korea demonstrates outstanding scholarly merit, research prowess, and methodological innovation. The deadline for submission is January 15th, 2022.
